The specification for masonry structures (ACI 530.195/ASCE 6-95/TMS 602-95) is written as a master specification and is required by the code to control materials, labor and construction. Thus, this specification covers minimum construction requirement for masonry in structures.

The following information only concerns horizontal joint reinforcing, anchors, ties and accessories required by the 530 specification.
